MONIKA V. KALEPS

Monika Kaleps is a photographer who resides in Columbus, Ohio. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in photography from Ohio State University. Aside from her work as a wedding photographer, Kaleps' fine art photography has been exhibited in numerous juried exhibitions and has received multiple awards. She also serves as the Photographer and Installation Director for the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition, which is a high school art competition open to all students in the state of Ohio. Kalep's broad experience has led her to similar positions with other Ohio art exhibitions, such as the one assembled by the state's Department of Conflict & Resolution Management.

THAD RICKER

Thad Ricker is an artist and art educator who resides in Columbus, Ohio. He received a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree with an emphasis on Art History, from Bowling Green State University in 1990. From there he interned at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, working in their publications department. After this time at MoMA, Ricker returned to BGSU to obtain his Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics, as well as a teaching certificate. For the past 15 years, Ricker has taught art at Hilliard Davidson High School. For ten of those years, he has also served as the Executive Director of the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition, a high school art competition open to all students in the state of Ohio. In 2001, Ricker completed his M.A. in curriculum and instruction at Ashland University. Although he worked with and taught ceramics for many years, he currently teaches primarily photography classes. His current work as an artist is also photography-based.
